You may cancel their MyMTN Home Internet price plan by providing a cancellation notice within one month.
MTN will retain ownership of the fixed 4G and fixed 5G routers provided when subscribing to the MyMTN Home plans, therefore, customers are required to return the free-to-use 4G or 5G router when initiating a cancellation to a MTN store.

Customers are required to return the free-to-use fixed 4G or fixed 5G router in good working condition, in the original packaging including the following contents:

Router power cable.
Router network cable.
Router user manual.

In the event that you are not able to return the free-to-use fixed 4G or fixed 5G router to MTN, due to the device being lost, stolen or damaged, the following amounts will be clawed-back from the customer’s credit or debit card:

Claw-Back fee applicable (Incl VAT)	1650.00

What happens to the router if the customer cancels?

The router is considered the property of MTN. Therefore, the customer needs to return the free-to-use router and all components in the box as well as the box in a reasonable working condition.
You should return the below back to MTN once they cancel:
•    Router
•    Power cable
•    Network cable.
The CSR must complete the Customer Returns Document for the ‘Free-to-use’ routers.
